My 1st Thought, My 1st "Feel"

Welcome to "My Own Free Mind".

This is my 1st thought, my 1st "feel", my 1st opinion. At least on this blog anyways.

I have felt this urge, this sense of energy to release all these thoughts, these feelings, these opinions I've had on certain issues. And, it seems sometimes when I feel the need to express them I am told. "Please, do not feel this way. It is not right."

I would like to know who says it is not right? Who decides how a person should feel or not feel?

I feel the need to express myself in a certain way. So what if it does not go in agreement with what others want. Does that mean I should shut myself down and just cover up all my thoughts, my real feelings and put it into a box never to express them again?

Is this how life works? If you do not like hearing about it, you should cover it up and ignore it pretending it does not exist? So, if you feel so strongly about something you should not express it because it could somehow cause trouble? Or just be a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of something. Or that if you feel the need to express yourself you're seen as a unstable person?

Who says that if you express yourself, your own opinions that you're considered a person with unstable thoughts, unstable feelings?

Who gets to decide what you should say or shouldn't say? Who gets to have the rights to tell you how to feel about certain things?

If I like bright red colors of clothing, then it's my own perogative to wear it.
Just because some people feel so strongly against it doesn't mean that just because you're against it that I should be against it too.
Again, I find nothing disgusting abour that and people that do need to get a "reality check".

Another thing I want to make it perfectly crystal clear.
Whenever I'll be posting up my "blogging thoughts" it'll be out of my own free mind.
Meaning, I will not sweep the problem or issues under the rug because someone said so.
I will not throw away the dust because you should not be discussing such matters.

It's because no one is discussing certain issues that these problems are being ignored and not acknowledged. It is because people don't take it serious enough that they don't find it important enough to stop it.
They allow it to continue because they feel it's just other things out there happening that this thing is just minor.

Well, minor no more.
It's major, and I think it's worth discussing over.
Feel free to tell me otherwise, but simply I do not care.
You can pull the line on me that it's not proper. I can tell you, that God gave me my own free mind to think, feel, and do my own thing without someone telling me otherwise.
If that is how we're suppose to be, then we may as well stay in our box and never express anything to anyone because of their "intolerance" to accept people for who they are.

I'm done with that and get ready for that.
